September 12, 2012 Meeting Minutes

CALL TO ORDER / INTRODUCTIONS / APPROVAL OF MINUTES

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm at Hawk’s Prairie Inn Restaurant in Lacey by Josette Miller in Megan Renick’s absense, followed by introductions.  The minutes of the prior meeting where approved.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND – Karen Johnson & Mark Twardzicki

No current updates.

TREASURER’S REPORT – Larry Weniger

Larry reported the status of the clubs financial position.  Preliminarily the Vette Fest is showing a profit of approximately $3,000.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

MEMBERSHIP – Art Carter

Three canidates were proposed for membership election.  The election was held and the three candidates were approved for membership.  The new members are:

Fred and Char Millstead

Bob and Marge McKibbin

Don & Cynthia Patnoe

WEBSITE – Art Carter

NWACC – George Schwartz

The NWACC annual banquet will be held Saturday November 3, 2012.  George proposed the club make a contribution to this event.   A motion was made to contribute $200 to the event, seconded and passed.

NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM – George Schwartz

The 2012 Corvette Museum Caravan had arrived in Bowling Green.  

HISTORIAN – Marilyn Trogden 

Marilyn reported on the events since the last meeting.

SPONSORSHIP – Peggy Rogers

No new sponsor news to report.

SUNSHINE

No new sunshine activity to report

EVENTS & ACTIVITIES – Josette Miller

The event sign up notebook was circulated amongst the members.  

  

VETTE FEST

This event was reported as being the most attended event in the Northwest.

There was no old business.

NEW BUSINESS

There was no new business not noted above.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:05PM.
