Minutes of the May 10th, 2006 Meeting

The meeting was called to order by our Vice President, Mr. Randy Harris at 7 PM. The usual introductions were made.

Minutes of the April meeting be approved as printed.

Old Business

The Treasurer’s Report-

The treasurer’s report was given by Art.

Membership-

Dick and Sharon Swanson were voted in as our newest members. Congratulations to you, and welcome to Corvettes de Olympia.

Historian-

No report.

Scholorship.

Everything is current with the scholarship committee.

Website-

New pictures of the ACR are up.

Events & Activities-

Olympia pro Rally- 5/19-5/20 need a few workers at Little Creek Casino parking lot, contact Larry or Karen. Workers will receive a complimentary T Shirt and Dinner at the Casino.

SW Washington Tour - 5/28, leaves Royal Bean latte’ stand (on Tumwater Blvd) at 9 AM. All day tour of the beautiful back roads of SW Washington. I bet there is ice cream involved some where along the way.

VETTE-A-BRATION in Yakima 6/9-6/11, details on website or call Jon if you are interested.

ACR- Marked thanked the club and everyone else that contributed to the success of the ACR. Dash plaques are available if you did not get one and worked the Rally. The club had loaned the ACR $500 for raffle prizes, and it was suggested the ACR pay the club back. After some discussion, a motion was made and passed for the ACR to pay the club back, holding the dollars in a sub-account, for future All City Rally raffle prizes. A huge thanks to Mark for a job well done.

NWACC-

Nothing to report.

Sponsorship Committee-

Renewals in, thank you letters sent.

National Corvette Museum

George reported raffle tickets available for a 2007, build your own Corvette, and a Z06. Contact George if you are interested. Museum expansion is targeted for 2009 completion. Also there will be a 15th museum anniversary caravan tour leaving the Seattle area and touring back to Bowling Green. Watch for additional information.

Sunshine committee

Nothing new.

New Business

The raffle prize from Eric was won by Russ Ames, and the cash pot won by Jane Elliott.

Jane gets to bring the prize for the June meeting.
