COMMITTEE REPORTS

TREASURER’S REPORT – Art Carter

Art reported the specifics of our treasury. If you would like further information on this, you can contact Art for a breakdown.

NWACC – George Schwartz & Meagan Renick

George reported that the NWACC show season has now drawn to a close, but the autocross season is in full swing.  The upcoming autocross dates are August 17th, September 28th, and October 12th.  All of the remaining autocrosses will be hosted in Shelton at Sanderson Field.  Meagan gave an update on her weekend at the Rose City event, and showed her “Show Chair’s Choice” large trophy that was awarded to her and Mike.  Meagan also invited CdeO to participate in the NWACC Year End Banquet which will take place on November 1st, and is hosted by Glass Odyssey Corvette Club this year in Bremerton.  More details will be released as the event draws nearer.

NCM – George Schwartz

George reported that Phillip and Nancy Hall (former CdeO members) won a 2008 Z06 in the National Corvette Museum’s raffle.  They went to the Museum to view the car, and had it shipped via FedEx to their home.  Phillip was inquiring about the next autocross at Shelton, as he would like to bring the new car out to play.

WEBSITE – Art Carter

Nothing to report at this time.

MEMBERSHIP REPORT – Art Carter

Art stated that there are two members that are eligible to be voted in at this time, but they were not present at the meeting.

NEW BUSINESS

Larry W. talked about the upcoming Corvette & High Performance Open House.  Due to the lack of interest to make this event also a club hospitality day, we are no longer committing to doing that.  If anyone is still interested in working at the event, they are welcome and encouraged to do so as an individual, but this will not be hosted by the club.  Several people will still be working the event, and everyone is still welcome to bring their cars out to display/participate.  Meagan and Larry W. are still the club liaisons for the event, and you are welcome to approach them if you have comments/questions/concerns or need more info.

Peggy announced that there were 11 cars in attendance at Leavenworth, and that CdeO got the “Club Participation” award.

The 50/50 raffle winner responsible for bringing next month’s raffle prize is: Wayne Vandiver

The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.

The next meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at Chamber House at Panorama City.
