The meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm at Hawk’s Prairie Inn Restaurant in Lacey. The January meeting minutes were approved after we completed introductions.

TREASURER’S REPORT – Larry Weniger
Larry presented the report, which is available each month on the Web site.

There was a question about the $46.00 in miscellaneous income.  Larry said he would research the issue and report back to the club.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

MEMBERSHIP – Art Carter
Art reported that the membership lists are up to date.

WEBSITE – Art Carter
Our club web page is: www.corvettesdeolympia.org

The Web Site Committee met the week prior to the February meeting.  The group discussed the idea of producing the newsletter in an electronic format instead of printing, amongst other topics.

Art delivered a presentation on web site usage.  There were 9,507 visits to the site last year. There was a suggestion that we add a “How did you learn about CdeO?” to the application form for new members so we can see if people learned about the club via the Web site.  Betsy also suggested that we look at how we can use the Web site to recruit new members and learn about who visits the site.

There was a question about how far in advance of the March 1st deadline the web site should prompt members to pay dues.  Members discussed changing the site to give a reminder at 30 days before and another 15 days before.

Jon reported that the concern he raised last month about the newsletters on the Web site, was, in fact, his own “reading error”, and not a Web site error.

Meagan asked the Club to send any issues with the web site to her, and she will forward them to the Web site Committee.  She emphasized that we want to be proactive in resolving issues.

NWACC – Jon Cox
Jon stated that there was nothing new to report since our last meeting.

NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM – George Schwartz
