History of the Show & How It Works

What started as a small gathering of friends of Harold & Nancy LeMay has grown to be an eagerly anticipated event attended by thousands of automotive lovers! The LeMay Car Show is a unique two-location event. Over 500 vintage vehicles from the LeMay Family Collection are on view year-round at Marymount, including the day of the LeMay Car Show. However, only once a year, on the last Saturday in August, does the LeMay family graciously open up their home grounds to the public. At the LeMay Grounds, the public is offered the opportunity to view over 300 more collector cars within the LeMay's private garages. Additional attractions are viewable at both Marymount and the LeMay Grounds, so there is no shortage of eye candy!
This annual event is open to the public from 9am-5pm. Individuals who would like to show their personal collector cars at this event are welcome to bring those vehicles for display at Marymount - gates open for collector cars at 8am. All other public parking on car show day is at designated nearby schools and churches.

Vendors will be on-site at both the LeMay Grounds and at Marymount, so don’t leave your wallet at home!

Auction Information

We expect to auction several dozen restorable/parts vintage vehicles at Marymount starting at noon on car show day. Auction preview starts at 9am on sale day, and the auction is administered by Mather Auctioneers Inc. Most auction cars have been stored undercover since they were acquired. A preliminary list of vehicles will be listed here as soon as it becomes available (usually the beginning of August). Other auction inquiries should be directed to Mather Auctioneers, Inc.
Car Show Volunteers

The LeMay Car Show relies on volunteers to make the event possible. It's a fun day, but it takes a lot people to make it happen - room hosts, parking and traffic control, ticket sales, check-in... the list of volunteer positions could go on and on. We ask each of our volunteers to complete a Car Show Volunteer Registration Form by August 1st, 2011 so we can assign positions and be prepared for the big day in advance.
